Shola Ama: You Might Need Somebody (UK CDS 1 & 2) (WEA, 1996)

This was UK R&B singer Shola Ama's breakthrough hit. It reached number four on the UK singles chart in 1996 and also reached the top ten in several other European countries as well. In the UK, it was issued on two separate CD singles, which was a common format there in the mid to late 90s due to time restrictions on maxi-singles. The set included notable mixes by Cutfather + Joe, German house producer Mouse T. and Basement Jaxx.

Sade: Rare Adventure (2003)

This bootleg compilation was compiled in 2003 and contains rare b-sides and mixes from Sade's studio albums. There is a lot of b-side material, mostly from 1984-1988 and some rare remixes. Most of the remixes are untitled and a few are from white label 12"s (notably the club mixes of I Never Thought I'd See The Day and Pearls.) Most of Sade's b-side material is accounted for here, but for Snake Bite, A Love Affair With Life  and Keep Hanging On. The first two can be found on the 12" of Your Love Is King (and some cassette additions of Diamond Life) and the other track can be found on the CD maxi single of Paradise.

Jackson recorded Ask For More as part of a promotional campaign for soft drink Pepsi in 1999. This CD was given out free to customers for the purchase of Pepsi products during the campaign, and contained the song Ask For More, a remix by Masters At Work, and an enhanced video segment featuring a never before heard interview with the singer herself. Rosie Ribbons: Blink (UK CDM) (T2, 2002)

Ribbons first came to prominence as a runner-up on the UK talent show Pop Idol (the show that later spawned American Idol in the US.) Although she didn't win, Telstar Records signed her to a five album deal, reportedly worth £1,000,000. It was a short-lived contract, largely due to Telstar's financial problems (the label went bankrupt completely in 2004.) Ribbons released two singles in the UK; both were top 20 hits, but her contract was terminated before she could release her album.  This single (her first) reached number 12 on the UK singles chart back in 2002; the urban remix here by Anglo-Indian R&B producer Rishi Rich uses re-sung vocals and a new hook.

1. Blink (Radio Edit)
2. Blink (Rishi Rich 'Urban Rose' Remix)
3. Colours
